Mikhail Chernyshov appointed the director of the Volga Federal District MTS will manage the company business in 13 regions of the country: the Penza, Nizhny Novgorod, Kirov, Samara, Saratov, Ulyanovsk and Orenburg regions, as well as in Bashkortastan, Mordovia, Mariy-El, Tatarstan, Udmurtia and Chuvashia.

The company press service told news agency PenzaNews that Mikhail Chernushov will be responsible for MTS strategy realization.

“It implies the development of 3G/LTE networks and fixed data transfer networks and convergent services in the sphere of communication, retail and alternative sales, innovative services development and deployment, customer services upgrading, as well as new products and services launching,” the press service reported.

According to the MTS Group president Andrey Dubovskov, the peculiarity of the Volga Federal District is that it is one of the most multinational and lagrest districts in Russia, where each region has its own features of telecommunication market development.

“Company management in such conditions requires certain skills and experience. Mikhail Chernyshov has a good experience in the company work, including MTS data-solutions development and promotion in the regions of the Far East. I am sure that under his supervision the company will strengthen its leading position in the telecommunication market and continue realization of the MTS Group strategy,” he said.
