Penza, 10 October 2013. PenzaNews. The Penza regional social charitable fund “Civil Union” became one of the 42 socially oriented non-profit organizations that will receive government support in the amount of 266.5 million rubles.

The federal budget was distributed in accordance with the results of the competition conducted by the Ministry of economic development and trade in the Russian Federation.

“514 applications participated in the competition; a special committee was created to assess them. It consisted of representatives of the federal executive bodies and independent experts. The review was organized in two stages. After the first one the preliminary participants rating list was formed, consisting of 104 organizations. They presented specific programs to be considered by the committee,” the press officer of the Ministry of economic development and trade told news agency “PenzaNews.”

He added that according to the second stage results, it was decided to make a list of NGO grant winners who gained at least 67 points at the competition.

“Among them is Penza regional social charitable fund “Civil Union,” which will be provided with the financial support in the amount of 2,566,788 rubles,” the agency interlocutor said.
