2 billion rubles allocated for building perinatal center in Penza

Penza, 18 October 2013. PenzaNews. The Penza region will get 2 billion 61 million 573,5 thousand rubles for the regional program of medical care modernization to build a perinatal center.
The assignment of the subsidies in the total amount of 52,66 billion rubles was established by the decree of the government of the Russian Federation, signed by Dmitry Medvedev, the prime-minister of Russia.
According to the document, the copy of which was given to news agency “PenzaNews,” the money will be allocated to 30 regions for co-financing building of 32 perinatal centers.
“The maternal and infant mortality rate, the deficit of beds in the pathology of pregnancy and infants in the regions of the Russian Federation, regional climatic and seismic conditions, technical readiness of the construction sites and the level of estimated fiscal capacity of the regions were taken into account when calculating the subsidies amount,” the decree explanatory note said.
