Penza, 21 October 2013. PenzaNews. Almost 105 thousand people in the Penza region received influenza vaccine. The press service of the regional office of Russian Federal Consumer Right Protection and Human Health Control Service told news agency PenzaNews on Monday, October 21.

“More than 99,720 people got injected in accordance with the national vaccination schedule. 5,138 residents more were vaccinated at the cost of other sources of financing,” the office said.

The office also pointed out that the vaccination plan in the Penza region has been realized for 25,2% so far.

“Influenza cases have not been detected in the last week,” Russian Federal Consumer Right Protection and Human Control Service said, adding that epidemiological situation of influenza and respiratory viral infections is under permanent control.
