Penza, 29 October 2013. PenzaNews. Penza people with disabilities will be able to use a free service of goods transportation as part of the special initiative, organized by the local office of the political party LDPR.

“From 1 November through 3 December 2013 any disabled person living in Penza can call to the regional office of LDPR at 999-667, and the service of goods transportation will be rendered to them absolutely for free,” the coordinator of the Penza regional branch of LDPR Mikhail Usov told news agency “PenzaNews.”

He explained that the delivery of household appliances, furniture and other goods would be carried out on the GAZelle vans, belonging to LDPR; if necessary, the party activists can carry things.

“Citizens, who want to use the free service of goods transportation, should only have a valid certificate of a disabled person,” the agency interlocutor said.

Mikhail Usov particularly drew attention to the fact that the disabled will not be able to use the GAZelle as a regular taxi.

“The car is not equipped appropriately and, therefore, it cannot be used as a taxi for passengers. At present we can only transport goods,” he said.

The campaign is dedicated to International Day of Persons with Disabilities, which is celebrated on December 3.
