Penza, 1 November 2013. PenzaNews. The ceremonial rewarding of the winners of the best slogan and logo competition to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Penza region was held in the regional ministry for public relations and mass communications on Friday, November 1.

“The competition was announced back in August. We tried to set short terms to get people mobilized, but, alas, that did not work. It is partly due to the Penza anniversary celebration - all designers and advertising agencies were overloaded with work. That was why we extended the competition term till the end of October,” the minister of public relations and mass communications Alexei Ilika said.

He explained that the preference was expressed for the variants that are multi-purpose, match with each other and can be used will all media.

“The winners are young. They understand what the new take on slogan and logo should mean.

The minister announced that the author of the best logo for the Penza region 75th anniversary celebration became the advertising manager Sergey Kalkaev, and, according to the competition committee, the most interesting slogan “Strong tradition – secure future” was created by the post-graduate of Penza State University of Architecture and Construction Maksim Fokin.

They will receive a reward of 83,000 and 12,000 rubles respectively.
