The office said that more than 150 police officers protected public order.

“The celebration continued in the park near the palace of culture of railway workers, where the representatives of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia organized a meeting, during which they congratulated Penza residents with the holiday and distributed party propaganda materials. About 100 people participated in the event, 10 police officers protected public order,” the office said.

The press service added that there were no emergency incidents during the events.

“We had no disturbances of public peace,” the office of the ministry of internal affairs of Russia in the Penza region pointed out.
