Penza, 19 November 2013. PenzaNews. Alexander Demkov won the competition in speed eating of Italian cuisine dishes, organized as part of Day of the Satiated Student of Penza State University of Architecture and Construction.

“Alexey Samoilov took the second place, Alexander Zakharov – the third,” the deputy chairman of the students’ trade-union committee Nail Vyalshin told news agency “PenzaNews.”

He said that during the two qualifying stages the participants were offered to eat a plate of spaghetti in the shortest possible time.

“In the semifinals six people competed in eating pizza, and in the final contest the three finalists were offered a Caesar salad, the agency interlocutor said.

Nail Vyalshin added that it was the third time that the students’ trade union committee of Penza State University of Architecture and Construction organized such event.
