Penza, 2 December 2013. PenzaNews. Specialists of the regional department of Federal Supervision Agency for Consumer Protection and Human Welfare continue conducting epidemiological investigation of the acute enteric infection outbreak in the economic financial lyceum No. 29 of the city of Penza.
“The basic version is a nutritional character of the outbreak, connected with eating meals on 15 November, cooked in the food unit of the lyceum,” the press service of the department of Federal Supervision Agency for Consumer Protection and Human Welfare in the Penza region told news agency “PenzaNews.”
The department remarked that the nutrition for pupils is provided by LLC “Titan 2001.”
According to the department, all those becoming ill – 61 pupils, two teachers and a watchman – were on an ambulant regime.
The school declared a restrictive regime, the intense disinfection will be carried out within 21 days. Disease control measures are taken in homes of the ill,” the press service added.
According to the latest official information, the clinical findings of the disease appeared in the period from 16 to 17 November.
