“The inspection revealed significant weaknesses in the operational activities of the airline company. There were irregularities in the company staff training, compliance with the work-rest regime of flying and cabin crews and other omissions, indicating the operator’s inconformity to the certificate requirements,” the press service of the Federal Air Transport Agency told news agency “PenzaNews.”
Rosaviation also added that the check resulted in a set of measures aimed at ensuring safe and smooth operation of other airline companies registered in the territory of Tatarstan.
“These airline companies will be subject to unscheduled checks. Officials of the Tatar Interregional Air Transport administration involved in the biased estimate of the work of the airline company Tatarstan will also undergo checks,” the press service added.
Commenting on the statement of the Federal Air Transport Agency, the press service of the airline company “Tatarstan” drew attention to the fact that the certificate cancellation is of advisory nature.
“In case the decision to suspend the activities of the airline company is officially taken, it will be announced well in advance,” the press service stressed.
The airline company added that flights are performed in the regular operation mode.
