“Thanks to the support of news agency “PenzaNews,” which is the initiator of the project, as well as to three Penza radio stations – Russkoe Radio, Autoradio and Zolotoe FM – the number of applications for getting equipment has grown considerably. Within one day, about 50 people reached our office; they were interested how they could get second-hand equipment for free. On the whole, people who provided us with the necessary documents were included in a list of 25 candidates. The expert board decided, as a matter of priority, to give equipment to several social organizations and multi-child families that cannot afford buying computers. The remaining applications, which include those received from unemployed and lonely pensioners, will be considered at the next meeting of the board,” the executive director of the “Civil Union” fund Oleg Sharipkov told news agency “PenzaNews.”

He also said that the regional charitable non-governmental organization “Do Good,” located in Kuznetsk, and the Penza branch of the all-Russian organization “For Human Rights” will each get a laptop.

“In addition, the organization “Do Good” will be provided with a DVD-player. Another one is reserved for the Municipal Budgetary General Education Institution, Supplementary Education, Young Technicians Station of the Nizhnelomovsky area of the Penza region. The establishment will also receive a computer, speakers, several sets of headphones and radio components. Unfortunately, we have no multimedia projector and a screen yet, as the applicant wanted, that is why I am sending my request to all who are willing to give a projector or any other computer equipment to call the “Civil Union” fund or write us a letter,” Oleg Sharipkov said.

He remarked that the following applicants will each get a computer: seniors club affiliated to the center of social help to families and children of the Zheleznodorozhny district of Penza, recently registered human rights organization “For Human Rights,” the fire victim Elena Samygina and six mothers of many children – Yuliya Khlynina, Olga Istratova, Svetlana Polyakova, Evgeniya Romashkina, Kristina Emanova and Natalia Egorova.

“The time and the place of the equipment delivering to the recipients will be announced later,” the agency interlocutor concluded.
