“Maria Sittel gave birth to a son today! Our congratulations from all the TV team!” the TV host of the program “Vesti” on the Russia-1 channel, a political commentator Andrei Kondrashov posted in his microblog on Twitter on the Wednesday afternoon, December 18.

As news agency PenzaNews reported earlier, for the first time the information about Maria Sittel’s pregnancy, who was then a mother of three children, appeared in Media in June 2013.

Maria Sittel is a TV presenter of the news program “Vesti” of the TV channel Russia, a TEFI award winner, a presenter of the program “Special correspondent.”

She was born on 9 November 1975 in Penza. She graduated from All-Russian Part-time Institute of Finance and Economics majoring in Finance and credit.

She started her TV career in 1997 in the television and radio broadcasting company Our Home. Since 1998 – a TV presenter and a news correspondent of the Penza TV channel Express. In 1999, she went to work in GTRK Penza.

Since September 2001 – a TV presenter of the evening news program “Vesti” of the channel Russia together with Dmitry Kiselev. Since September 2008 she presented the evening news program “Vesti” together with Andrei Kondrashev.

Since 2008 – a co-presenter of the program “A Conversation with Vladimir Putin.” Since 2009 she hosted the program “Special Correspondent.”
