Penza, 19 December 2013. PenzaNews. Site designs of several park areas and green zones are planned to be prepared in 2014 at the expense of the budget of Penza.

“Among them there are park areas for recreation of grown-up people, families with children and the youth in the micro district Arbekovo, including the territory along the Arbekovskie ponds and the Victory Park. It is also planned to build a sports, entertainment and cultural cluster in the district Zarya and green zones using plots of the forestland from Zapadnaya Polyana towards Arbekovo and from Soskonka to Akhuny,” the press service of the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Road Facilities of the region told news agency PenzaNews on Thursday, December 19.

The press service added that maintenance of the existing parks and gardens in the central part of the city and reconstruction of the embankment of the Sura are also being considered.

“The site design of the territory of the micro district Raiki implied widening of Pushkina Street with the boulevard to extend it,” the press service said.

The Ministry remarked that the approval of the documentation on the site designs is scheduled for August of the next year.
