Penza, 19 December 2013. PenzaNews. Residents of Penza and the region were invited to take part in a public discussion of the draft strategy for tourism development in the Russian Federation up to 2020, which is organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.

The document specifies the goals and tasks of the sphere, it defines main directions of the single tourist-and-recreational complex of the country.

The draft strategy also includes measures to overcome gaps in the legal and regulatory framework, to increase the quality and competitiveness of tourism products and security.

In addition, it considers implementation of educational, cultural and cognitive features of tourism to the work with young people, strengthening its role in the education and formation of spiritual and moral fundamentals of the society.

“Experts in tourism, representatives of municipal institutions and travel agencies, and other people interested in it are invited to participate in the discussion,” the press service of the department of culture and archive of the Penza region told news agency “PenzaNews.”

The press service added that all comments, questions and proposals will be accepted until Wednesday, December 25.

The draft strategy for tourism development in Russia up to 2020 is posted on the website of the regional department of culture and archive.
