Penza, 20 December 2013. PenzaNews. Total funding of the events held as part of the long-term target program “Celebration of the 350th anniversary of the founding of Penza in 2010-2013” amounts to 10 billion 889 million 373 thousand 870 rubles.

According to the most recent changes made to the program by the regional government decree of 19 December 2013, the federal budget funds amounted to over 7,4 billion rubles, the regional budget – to more than 1,8 billion rubles, and the city budget– around 1,7 billion rubles.

Almost 52 million rubles are planned to be spent on media coverage of the events dedicated to the anniversary.

According to the updated information, in 2013, Penza spent over 4,7 million rubles for these purposes, and the regional Ministry of Public Relations and Mass Communications – over 9,2 million rubles.

As news agency PenzaNews reported earlier with reference to the Ministry of Regional Development, the 350th anniversary of Penza ranked among fourteen memorable events on the preparation and organization of which 83,9 billion rubles of the federal budget are planned to be spent in the period from 2013 to 2024.
