Penza, 23 December 2013. PenzaNews. Salaries totaling over 85 million rubles have been paid to employees of enterprises and organizations of the Penza regions since the beginning of 2013 after the interference of the prosecutor’s office.

“The supervision of compliance with the labor rights of citizens is one of the priorities of the regional prosecutor’s office work. In connection with this, the system tracking and monitoring of dynamics of salary debts are conducted,” the senior assistant attorney of the Penza region Yuliya Makarova told news agency PenzaNews on Monday, December 23.

She added that since the beginning of 2013, there have been conducted over 900 checks of compliance with the remuneration legislation.

“Prosecutors paid particular attention to “grey” salary (illegal salary), which is latent in nature,” the agency interlocutor said.

Yuliya Makarova remarked that citizens do not always want to complain about non-payment of salaries.

“In the prosecutor’s office of the Penza region there was opened a hot line which gets messages, including anonymous, on the issues of salary debts and salaries in envelopes. It can be reached by (8412) 56-16-77. All the information will be checked and necessary measures will be taken,” the senior assistant attorney of the region stressed.
