Penza, 24 December 2013. PenzaNews. “In December of the last year, it happened so that I joined the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Some people know this story. Conducting our activities we gained problems, but the highlight of all this was that they just had me sent to the army. In fact, this is very good. An oppositionist with a military record and military intelligence service in emergency conditions in the Republic of Tajikistan is a great tail-piece to the biography. Thanks to Valery Alexandrovich Savin for his idea to send me to the army,” Sergei Padalkin said during a meeting with journalists in Penza on Tuesday, December 24.
However, the oppositionist admitted that “Left Front” activists and their protests did not manage to bring radical changes to Penza and the region.
“That is why I think that protests will not do. We need to act in a different way. In any case, I remain faithful to my principles and my idea. I will continue conducting opposition and public activities, but in a little bit different format. What it will be like should be spoken about in the New Year,” Segrei Padalkin said.
