Thus, on Thursday, December 26, the head of the administration of Zemetchinsky area Vyacheslav Gradov delivered the report to the ministers.

He said that at present the most significant investment project is the reconstruction of the local sugar factory with the allocation of 2,5 billion rubles, 1,4 billion of which has already been disbursed.

Vyacheslav Gradov added that four settlements - villages Pashkovo, Proletarsky, Saltykovo and Ushinka – have become centers of regional development.

However, he identified a number of problems noting, in particular, the need for large-scale influx of capital. According to official figures, in 2012 the amount of investment in fixed capital totaled 316 million rubles, while for nine months of 2013 it was only 130,1 million.

At the end of the presentation, the chairman of the regional government Yuri Krivov noted the importance of the ministers’ awareness of the development progress of each particular area.
