Report of Penza “Civil Union” recognized as “bronze standard”

Penza, 26 December 2013. PenzaNews. Report of the regional public charity fund “Civil Union” was labeled “Bronze standard” at the seventh all-Russian competition of annual reports of non-profit organizations “Starting Point,” which in 2013 was held by the partnership “Forum of Donors.”

Out of 174 applicants there were 157 organizations allowed to participate, 42 of them prepared public annual reports for the first time.

After the review of the documents submitted, the reports were divided into four categories. Twenty were recognized as “gold standard.” According to the experts, these are works demonstrating the best practice of annual reports of non-profit organizations.

61 reports of high quality, according to the competition committee, were composed by “silver standard.”

49 reports comply with the “bronze standard,” including the one of the Penza organization. Moreover, “Civil Union” was marked among non-profit organizations participating in the competition for more than the fourth time.

23 organizations were encouraged in the category “Information standard.” Their annual reports comply with the standard of the presentation of information to wide range of interested individuals.

The award ceremony of the competition winners was held in the Public Chamber of Russia.
