Penza, 16 January 2014. PenzaNews. 11-year-old Anna Mishunina from the Penza region was awarded a special prize following the results of the all-Russian competition of children’s drawings “My parents work for the police” organized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

“Her drawing depicting heroism of police officers rescuing people during the autumn flood in 2013 in the Far East, according to the jury, is the brightest story work,” the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russian told news agency PenzaNews on Thursday, January 16.

The press service added that the winners are Anastasia Antsiferova from the Belgorod region, Ksenia Zolnikova from the Tyumen region, and Viktoria Medogorskaya from the Saratov region.

“Anna Vustyak from the Khanty-Mansijsk Autonomous District, Ivan Burlak from the Primorsk Territory, and Daniil Galaev from the Moscow region took the second place. The third place was shared by Vitaly Kuts from Komi, Ruslan Shevchenko from Dagestan and Vlad Kucher from the Moscow region,” the press service said.
