Penza, 3 February 2014. PenzaNews. Events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Penza region will be held on Tuesday, February 4.

At 10.30, there will start a library-marathon “Take a walk in the Penza region” in the Regional Library for children and youth.

At 13.00, presentation of exhibition “The Chronicles of life of the Penza region: people, events, facts” will be held in the art gallery named after K. Savitsky.

At 15.00, exhibition “Those who glorified Penza…” will open in the Penza State Museum of Local History.

The main event will take place in the Regional Drama Theater named after A. Lunacharskogo scheduled at 16.00. There will be a ceremony for the region's honorable residents and prominent figures of the economy, culture, education, sports and medicine, followed by a gala concert with the participation of the leading performance groups of the Penza region.

In addition, at 17.00 the children's music school No. 5 will present an album by the students “Young poets of Penza land,” the press service of the city administration informed.
