Zarechny, 5 February 2014. PenzaNews. Director of natural resource department of Zarechny Tatyana Pchelintseva announced her intention to appeal to the court against the Ministry of Agriculture of the Penza region in connection with the death of a female elk during the transfer of wild animals outside the city.

According to current data, one calf is still staying in Zarechny. The specialists continue looking for it, broadcasting company “Zarechny” informed.

On Wednesday, February 5, during the transfer of the female elk and two calves from Zarechny, the female died.

One calf was transported successfully.

The circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
