Penza, 5 February 2014. PenzaNews. The Penza region will receive over 220 million rubles from the federal budget for the modernization of pre-school education.

“These funds will be used to purchase equipment for additional places in kindergartens, reconstruction and repair of buildings and the acquisition of new premises for the implementation of pre-school programs, and support of non-government sector,” the press service of the Ministry of Education in the region told bews agency “PenzaNews.”

The ministry added that last year the Penza region fully complied with its obligations under the development grant from the federal budget.

“2,323 places in full day pre-school groups were created,” the press service said.
