The Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Demography of the Penza region signed a contract with JSC “Selskaya Zdravnitsa” [Rural Health Resort] worth over seven million rubles for purchasing 451 vouchers to health camps for children in difficult life situation.

As the press service of the regional Ministry of Labor told news agency “PenzaNews,” the cost of each voucher is over 16 thousand rubles.

“All of them are distributed among municipal areas and urban districts in proportion to the number of children aged 6-15 years. Vouchers for health camps of year-round basis are provided to children in difficult life situations at the request of their parents or legal representatives. The documents are accepted by authorities and institutions of social welfare in the place of registration of a child,” the department explained.

The ministry added that the first group of children — 220 people — went to a sanatorium “Niva” on Thursday, February 13.
