In Penza, Wi-Fi access is available in the office of the Federal Tax Service of Zheleznodorozhny, Pervomaysky, Leninsky, and Oktyabrsky districts,” the press secretary of Penza branch of OJSC Rostelekom Alexei Makarov told news agency “PenzaNews.”

He noted that an unlimited amount of incoming IP-traffic and high bandwidth will provide tax service visitors with convenient access to various information resources.

“Wi-Fi Rostelekom can be used by the owners of smartphones, tablets, laptops and other devices equipped with a Wi-Fi module. Data transmission speed for the customers is up to 6 Mbit / s. For authentication procedure one must enter their own password for “Home Internet” access. In addition, one can connect to the network with lower speed for free using “guest” password,” the agency interlocutor said.

Alexei Makarov added that there is also “Premium Access” at speed up to 6 Mbit / s.

“The service costs 30 rubles. This amount is deducted from the account of the user after confirmation via text-message. The service is rendered within 24 hours from the initial authorization after authorization using the password received via text-message. This authorization must occur within one day after receipt of password,” he explained.

The press secretary of Penza branch noted that Wi-Fi access is provided at the expense of the company-provider, thereby Rostelekom solve social problems of timely access to information.

“The company is planning to expand public Wi-Fi coverage. Earlier, Rostelekom opened free Wi-Fi zone in its own sales and service points, multi-purpose center of public and municipal services in Shmidta Street and the water sports palace in Kalinina Street,” Alexei Makarov concluded.
