Penza, 26 February 2014. PenzaNews. Penza traffic police officers held a social action aimed at preventing road accidents involving children.

On Wednesday, February 26, as a part of the action, traffic police officers stopped cars in Ternopolskaya Street in the vicinity of versatile gymnasium No. 13 and school No. 57 to detect violations of transportation of young passengers.

During the action the police conducted outreach work with the drivers, reminding them that the use of special holding device appropriate to weight and height of a young passenger, is intended to ensure his safety.

Inspectors also noticed that the cost of the car seat is comparable to the amount of an administrative fine imposed for violation of traffic rules when transporting children, which equals three thousand rubles.

During the preventive action, traffic police officers thanked conscious drivers for strict observance of traffic rules, and filed reports against violators.

One of the drivers stopped by traffic police inspectors made him remove the tint from the windshield.
