Penza, 26 February 2014. PenzaNews. Over 300 vehicles were evacuated from the streets of Penza from the beginning of 2014. As the press service of the city administration told news agency “PenzaNews,” in 125 cases car owners violated parking rules. “On Wednesday, February 26, a raid was held, which aimed at detecting parking violations. It involved the representatives of the Department of Housing of Penza, the center of traffic management, district administrations and the traffic police,” the mayor's office added.

The press service specified that since the beginning of the year, 68 additional signs prohibiting stopping were installed in the streets of Penza, but drivers often ignore them.
“During the raid, reports on administrative offenses were filed,” the administration of Penza said.
According to official data, the charge for evacuation of a vehicle costs 103 rubles per 1 km.
An hour spent at the evacuation parking is worth 52 rubles for vehicles of category “B,” 104 rubles for “C,” and 156 rubles for “D” and “E.”
