Commuter train fares to rise in Penza region from April 1

Penza, 13 March 2014. PenzaNews. Passenger and baggage fare in commuter trains will amount to 14 rubles in the Penza region from April 1, 2014. The corresponding order was signed by the acting head of the department of rate regulation and energy consumption of the Penza region Natalia Klak.

“The rate has been approved by means of indexation in accordance with changes in macroeconomic indicators based on general parameters of the socio-economic development of the Russian Federation for 2014 and the planning period of 2015-2016 developed by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia,” the department of rate regulation and energy consumption of the Penza region told news agency “PenzaNews.”

Previous rate amounted to 12 rubles and took effect from July 10, 2013.
