Metallistov Street and block by new Philharmonic to be reconstructed in Penza

Penza, 17 March 2014. PenzaNews. Two objects will be reconstructed in Penza using the funds saved during the celebration of the 350th anniversary of the city. This was announced by mayor Roman Chernov during the meeting of the standing committee of the City Duma on local government, monitoring of the activities of agencies and officials on Monday, March 17.

“Today, we still have in an unfinished state The House of Culture named after Kirov, and I believe the work can be completed by the holidays in May; the zoo, where we have allocated additional 10 million rubles for improvement, and the two objects at the expense of savings — the reconstruction of Metallistov Street, and Tolstogo — Suvorova — Nekrasova — Pushkina Streets. All of these objects will also be financed,” the head of administration of Penza explained.
Roman Chernov reminded that the circus is also under construction.
“Funding has been confirmed, and the object is being supervised. I think that it will be commissioned in due time in accordance with the contract,” the mayor noted.
