Penza, 18 March 2014. PenzaNews. XX city contest “Teacher of the Year-2014” will be held on March 24-26 in Penza.

Grand opening will take place at Children's School of Arts named after Yuri Yanichkin at 11.00 am on Monday, March 24.

It is planned that a number of officials will take part in the ceremony, such as the head of the city Yuri Alpatov, the mayor of Penza Roman Chernov, the minister of education in the region Svetlana Kopeshkina and some others.

13 teachers are in the list of competitors.

During the first day of the contest they will present their “business cards” and hold methodology seminars.

On Tuesday, March 25 they will give lessons in their subjects, and the next day there will be master classes and teacher monologues on a given topic.

The awarding ceremony of the best teachers of Penza will be held in the concert hall “Zarya” at 15.00 on Wednesday, March 26.
