Penza, 3 April 2014. PenzaNews. Honored Artist of Russia, famous ballerina, author and performer of solo concerts Anastasia Volochkova intends to open a creative center for children in sports clubs “Zebra” in Moscow in September 2014.

“I want to create such a network of creative centers and clubs where children will learn art of dancing, acting, and singing. And this should be affordable for average consumers,” Anastasia Volochkova said during a meeting with journalists in Penza on Thursday, April 3.

According to her, it will be a kind of continuation of the pilot project implemented two years ago.

“Family Club” was a family story. We were friends with the children and their parents, celebrated birthdays, holidays. This was the thing,” the artist explained, while clarifying that the center had only 10 students.

Anastasia Volochkova stressed that it is important for her not to just give her name to the children's center, but to be its leader and inspirer.

She also mentioned the school in Togliatti, which bears the name of Maya Plisetskaya, but the ballerina never actually visited it.

“It's like a tube of cream saying “Ballet.” That's right, there is such a cream for feet called “Ballet,” Anastasia Volochkova said, adding that her task is to be within the project.
