Penza, 11 April 2014. PenzaNews. The Penza region may become a pilot region for the project of Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of Russia on training of IT- specialists. This was announced by the deputy director of the Department of Information Technology Development of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media Ilya Chuklin.

“The development of information technology is one of the most promising directions in terms of economic growth. The Penza region has a good foundation for the development in this field,” he said on Friday, April 11.

Ilya Chuklin explained that the department is planning to allocate subsidies for training cources in colleges.

“For this purpose, we are planning to select pilot regions, and the Penza region may become one of them. That means that one thousand specialists will be trained here,” the press service of the regional government quoted the representative of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of Russia.
