“Today we are going to initiate a “new-old” project. We will establish a center of electoral technologies. There will be held training sessions for observers, and not only students, but everyone willing. There are no age, religious or professional restrictions. Lectures will be held by the well-known lawyers of Penza, officials and scientists. On the election day, we will create a situation center, visiting groups — a whole body of observers. At the moment, we have over 400 people who expressed their desire to become oservers,” Gleb Sintsov said.

According to him, observers need to know how to behave in an election, what to pay attention to, and what is considered to be unacceptable.

“Some can permit tactless statements or engage in campaigning at polling stations. So we decided to summarize our experience obtained during the presidential elections in Russia and the elections of the deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Penza region, and improve the project,” the chairman of the regional branch of of the Russian Association of Lawyers.

However, the federal coordinator of observers “For clean elections” Nikolai Krasnikov, who arrived from Moscow to Penza, noted that the center of election technologies will be a discussion forum.

“These centers are being established in other regions as well, for example, in the Ulyanovsk region. Over time, they will operate in all regions of Russia. We have a lot of active people who want to change things for the better and are interested in the development of their country. The uniqueness of our movement is that we give an opportunity for self-realization, a chance to put forward their initiatives and get some practice,” he stressed.
