“A week ago, a large delegation headed by the representatives of the Ministry of Education of the region visited Finland. The delegation included university presidents. They returned “chargedd” with interesting approaches that exist in the field of education in Finland,” the head of the region said.

He noted that such visits are organized on a regular basis.

According to Vasily Bochkarev, they were particularly interested in an education project for foreigners at the expense of the host country, which has been successfully implemented in Finland.

“We are an import-dependent country. Many products are not produced here. And as governor I believe that this is due to the lack of education,” the head of the region stressed.

Vasily Bochkarev added that he had an opportunity to personally experience the quality of products manufactured in Finland.

He cited the example of a pair of winter shoes purchased in the country, which, in his opinion, are of better quality and more practical than Italian shoes.
