Penza, 25 April 2014. PenzaNews. The beginning of “St.George Ribbon” campaign commemorating the 69th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War will take place by Fontannaya square in Penza next Monday, on April 28.

The event is organized by the activists of “Young Guard of United Russia” national civil organization.

Every day until May 9 they will hand out St.George’s ribbons, the symbols of victory of Soviet people over faschism, to the passersby.

Also, they will tell people about the history of the campaign and the meaning of the ribbons.
