Penza, 30 April 2014. PenzaNews. Honorary events dedicated to the 365th anniversary of the foundation of Russian fire protection service took place in Penza on Wednesday, April 30.

The campaign began with machine inspection and fireman deployment competition which took place on the square by the regional Philarmonic Hall.

During the competition, the first place was secured by the team of the 6th Federal Fire-Fighting Service (FFFS) brigade based in Penza, the second place – by the 2nd FFFS brigade based in Kuznetsk, and the third – by the 1st FFFS brigade based in Serdobsk.

Live audience at the square curiously watched the activities during the event.

A solemn meeting in the Philarmonic Hall took place after the sports event. During the meeting, the distinguished firemen were awarded medals and promoted.

The festive event concluded with a performance by the members of Penza region state administration of Ministry of Emergency Situations and the students of cadet school number 70.
