Penza, 30 April 2014. PenzaNews. Citizens of Penza region will be able to reach Crimea using an entire ticket which will be eligible for train, highway and sea transportation at the same time.

According to the information published on the official website of Kuybishevskaya Railroad, intermodal passenger transportation to Crimea will begin on Thursday, May 1.

The transport operator on the Anapa-Krasnodar railroad section is Federal Passenger Company, JSC, a subsidiary company of Russian Railways, JSC.

On the rest of the route, people will be transported by other means of highway and water transportation through Kerch Strait to Yalta, Kerch, Feodosiya, Koktebel, Sudak, Simferopol, Alushta, Saki, Yevpatoria and Sevastopol cities.

In order to reach Crimea, a passenger must buy a train ticket and a pass for transportation via other means in any of the Federal Passenger Company, JSC box offices.

The train ticket is eligible for the route from the dispatch station to the interchange station. The transportation pass from Anapa or Krasnodar to the cities of Crimean federal district can be bought only together with a main-line train ticket, and will cost 150-830 rubles depending on the trip distance.

For example, train couchette-car ticket from Moscow to Anapa will cost 2797.60 rubles, and the transportation pass to Simferopol will cost 350 rubles; therefore, the total transportation cost will be 3147.60 rubles.

According to the information from Kuybishevskaya Railroad, the schedule of all means of transportation involved (train-bus-ferry-bus) is tightly controlled in order to reduce all possible delays and inconveniences. Passengers can contact the transport operator for additional information on transportation cost and schedule.
