Penza, 5 May 2014. PenzaNews. The next session of “We Remember Your Name” club based on the Penza state Museum of Local Lore will be dedicated to the women of the region who took part in the Great Patriotic War.

An exhibition titled “And may the history of valor be by the woman’s image graced” was also assembled specifically for the event.

During the meeting, the club members will pay special attention to the mothers who saw their sons and daughters off to the war, putting the country’s values above their feelings.

The mothers of Penza citizens who fulfilled their international duties in Afghanistan, conducted a peace-keeping mission in Abkhazia and took part in a counter-terrorist operation in Chechnya, were invited to the event as those who continue the traditions of those women.

Among the invited are Lyubov Berseneva, Tamara Kravchenko, Lyubov Borovova, Yelena Guryanova and Lyudmila Plyatseva.

The club session will take place next Tuesday, on May 6, says the press center of the Department of Culture and Archives of Penza region.
