Penza, 8 May 2014. PenzaNews. Retail sale of alcoholic products, including beer, and glass-bottled drinks will be limited in Penza on Friday, May 9, due to the festive events commemorating Victory Day.

“This measure is introduced to preserve public peace and protect the morals and health of the citizens, especially minors and underage,” told Penza region press center to agency “PenzaNews.”

The city hall representative clarified that in the time period from 8:00 to 15:00 the limitations will be imposed on the public food trade locations based on Pobeda prospect and Furmanova, Repina, Karpinskovo and Kommunisticheskaya streets on which official ceremonies and a relay race will be held.

“Alcoholic products and drinks will not be sold in shops by the Sura river bank from 18:00 to 23:00. Such shops as ‘Magnit’ and ‘Rostok’ on Slava street, as well as ‘Bulvar’ on Kirova street were included in their list,” the Penza city administration representative added.
