Penza, 12 May 2014. PenzaNews. 25 students and teachers of Penza State Technological University went on a five-day bike ride dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the region and the 55th anniversary of the university.

The participants of the rally started off from the main building of the university on Monday, May 12.

In total, they will cover 120 km. Marathon route will run through the territory of Staraya Kamenka, Kondol, Shemisheyka, Alferyevka and Zasechny.

As the press service of the educational establishment told news agency “PenzaNews,” the bike ride was organized to promote a healthy lifestyle among the residents of Penzensky and Shemisheysky areas.

“In addition, the participants will visit the rural educational institutions, where they will hold events aimed at popularizing technology education,” the press service said.
