Penza, 14 May 2014. PenzaNews. 596 health workers will be involved during the summer health campaign in the Penza region in 2014.

As the press service of the regional Ministry of Health told news agency “PenzaNews,” over 490 children's health institutions, including 28 country camps.

The ministry added that health workers were trained during the two-day workshop organized in the regional children's hospital named after N. Filatov.

“Its agenda included issues of hygiene of the camp grounds, equipment and premises of summer camps. Special attention was paid to the prevention of infectious and parasitic diseases,” the press service said.

The Health Ministry of the region also noted that during the summer health campaign in 2013, no outbreaks of infectious diseases were registered in the camps of the Penza region.
