Penza, 16 May 2014. PenzaNews. No official beaches are expected to be opened on the territory of Penza in 2014. This was announced by the head of the main department of state inspectorate for small vessels of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region Pyotr Voronin.

According to him, the audit revealed that all city beaches are in poor condition.

He also added that the recreation area is likely to be organized in GPZ-24 area, in Akhuny, and by the restaurant “Zaseka.”

“The waters of the Penza region will be constantly patroled,” the head of the department said.

As the press service of the main department emergencies in the region informed news agency “PenzaNews,” the final verification of recreation areas will be done before the start of the beach season on Tuesday, May 20.
