Penza, 22 May 2014. PenzaNews. No official beaches will not be open in Penza in 2014. This was announced by the head of information and public relations division of the main department of Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the region Anna Shupilova to news agency “PenzaNews.”

According to her, such a situation happens for the second year in a row.

“At the moment, there are no beaches in Penza where safe rest could be guaranteed to the population,” the agency interlocutor explained.

However, Anna Shupilova added that all in all 13 beaches are expected to be operating in the region during this summer.

“These beaches have only insignificant flaws. According to the results of the final verification, which is scheduled for May 27-30, a decision of their operation will be made. Among them are two beaches in Zarechny, “Lazurny bereg” and “Beryozovaya roshcha” in the Penza region, “Belaya gora” in Kamenka, “Solnechnaya polyana” and “Chayka” in Serdobsk, the beach by the river Vyad, Russevsky beach, pond Shilovsky in Narovchatsky area and three beaches in the recreation center “Chistye prudy,” the head of group information and public relations of the main department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Penza region explained.
