Penza, 26 May 2014. PenzaNews. Over one thousand orphans are still on the list waiting for housing in the Penza region as of May 22, 2014. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Labor of the region Elena Stolyarova during operational meeting in the regional government on Monday, May 26.

“The program for providing housing for orphans is intended for 2013-2015 and provides for funding from both the federal and regional budgets. As of May 22, 584 premises have been built,” Elena Stolyarova informed.

According to her, in 2013 and 2014, 369 orphans were provided with housing, and by the end of this year 273 people are to receive their homes.
