Over 1,200 ninth-graders taking exams in Penza region

Penza, 3 June 2014. PenzaNews. Over 1,200 ninth-graders are taking the state exam in basic Penza region on Tuesday, June 3.
“Nearly 390 students are to demonstrate their knowledge in biology, 220 — in history, 548 — in physics, over 50 — in geography, around 70 — in the English language, and 5 students in German,” the press service of the Ministry of Education in the region told news agency “PenzaNews.”
The ministry clarified that the minimum passing score in biology is 13, and the maximum — 46.
“In history it is 13 and 44 points, respectively, in physics — 9 and 40, geography — 12 and 32, in foreign languages — 29 and 70, respectively,” the press service said.
The ministry noted that in the Penza region there are 28 exam sites, 14 of them are in Penza.
“Test results will be available in the region within 10 days,” the Ministry of Education in the region summed up.
