Penza, 6 June 2014. PenzaNews. The total prize fund of annual races on rafts made of plastic bottles, which will be held on Thursday, June 12, on the City Day under the slogan “Penza for health and positive,” will amount to 135 thousand rubles.

According to the rules of competition, each race provides for one first place, two second and three third places. Prizes will make ten thousand, six thousand and three thousand, respectively.

The event is organized by company “Visit,” which is a manufacturer of natural mineral water “Nadezhda.”

In accordance with the rules, the race participants should be adult residents of Penza. There will be four rounds — two men rounds and two women rounds. The participants can also make a creative flotation device, such as a catamaran to fight for the victory in the race called “Kulibin's followers.”

According to the chairman of the Board of Directors of “Visit” Evgeny Golyaev, the company offers Penza residents to replace idle walking in the streets by active participation in a city holiday.

“A sound mind, spirit and everything else in a sound body. We invite the residents to practice their creative engineering minds building a raft, kayak, canoe, boat out of plastic bottles for racing,” he said.

Given the three-year experience of organizing the business festival, during the day, on the embankment, there will be fun games, competitions, master classes by dance and fitness studios, checkers and chess tournaments. In addition, children's pools will be open there. A concert with the participation of Russian pop stars will complete the event.
