Penza, 6 June 2014. PenzaNews. The Penza region took 40th place in the rating of the Ministry of Regional Development of Russia, which assesses the effectiveness of the executive bodies of a region of the Russian Federation in 2013.

Compared with 2012, the region demonstrated rapid growth, rising in the list 20 lines up at once.

According to the procedure applied, the performance rating is calculated based on 12 indicators, which are divided into three blocks —- economic development, social development, population surveys.

Among the leading regions are Tatarstan, the Tyumen region, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District, the Voronezh region and Chechnya.

The Penza region showed good results on the following parameters: the volume of investments in fixed assets (excluding the budget) — 20th place; proportion of commissioned total housing area in relation to the total area of housing — 15 place; expectancy life interval at birth — 5th place.

However, the region is not listed among 20 regions of the Russian Federation leading in population assessment of executive authorities.
