Grand opening of high technology park “Rameev” scheduled for December

Penza, 11 June 2014. PenzaNews. The grand openning of Penza high technology park “Rameev,” the construction of which continues in Tsentralnaya Street, is scheduled for December 2014. This was announced by the deputy prime minister of the Penza region Valery Bespalov during the meeting, which was chaired by the deputy minister of communications and mass communications of Russia Mark Shmulevich.

“Currently, the second and third phases of construction of the high technology park are being carried out,” he explained.

Valery Bespalov said that the construction of the park is moving ahead of schedule.

In turn, Mark Shmulevich stated the need to maintain the momentum and in the future, the press service of the department of innovation policy and special projects of the government of the Penza region informed.

Construction of industrial park “Rameev” is a part of a complex program “Creation of technology parks in the Russian Federation in the sphere of high technologies,” which includes 12 regions, the Penza region being one of them.

Total investment in the project amounts to 2,549,3 million rubles. 1,439,8 million rubles are allocated from the budget of the Penza region, 1,109,5 million rubles — from the federal one.

The first phase of phase of construction — 12,5 thousand square meters was commissioned on December 3, 2013. Construction of the second and third phases of technology park — 23,5 thousand meters — is scheduled in December 2014.

The main specialization of “Rameev” is information technology, development and production of high-tech medical products.

As a result of the project, there will be set up research and production facilities with a total area of 46 thousand square meters, which will house over 70 small innovative businesses and will create more than 1,.5 thousand jobs.
