Penza, 12 June 2014. PenzaNews. 60 representatives of public organizations and city communities became participants of festival “Good Penza,” which was held on the square named after V. Belinsky on Thursday, June 12.

Welcoming the participants and guests of the event, the deputy chairman of the regional government Valery Bespalov said that this festival is a good example of social activity.

“It is nice to see here people for whom the words “good” and “Penza” became a symbol of life. We thank you for it. You show how to do good,” he said.

In turn, the deputy chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the region Alexander Eremkin added that in the development of civil society in Russia important role belongs to public foundations and associations.

“I wish that all the people were involved in activities according to their interests. Of course, this requires time and money. Today's enthusiasts who have gathered here, are great fellows,g” he stressed.

Creative studios, sports associations, charitable organizations were presented at festival “Good Penza.” Cossacks, members of the squad “Poisk vezdekhod” [Search rover], horse club “Metelitsa” and many other associations.

Festival “Good Penza” is held for the third time in 2014. The first festival was held in 2011.

Initiators of the project are keen to show and tell the residents about what public organizations the city has and what they do.
