Penza, 13 June 2014. PenzaNews. Over 40 people from the Penza and Ryazan regions participated in IV Interregional Forum “Support and foster families: Regional Experience,” which was held in the library named after M. Lermontov on Friday, June 13.

During the roundtable, they discussed support and supervision of foster families and solutions to current problems and methods of forming positive attitudes in society.

In addition, during the event, the winners of competition of movies and stories “Family Notes.”

In the category “Video work” Konevs family won. Also diplomas were received by Zhegulins family, Akzhigitovs family, Proskurdins family.

For the best essay, Grand Prix was received by Moiseevs family, and the Audience Award went to family of Golubevs. Family of Tyutins, Trotsenkos, Semenskys were among the winners of the contest.

In the category “Family is source of inspiration,” nine works received high marks. Ivankins, Jurievs, Burmistrovs, Abuzovs, Antonovs, Kodorkins, Malyshevs, Stepovoys and Yaroslavtsevs families.

In addition, for active participation in the project “Every child is important for Russia,” certificate of merit was awarded to the head doctor of Penza orphanage Natalia Pavlocheva.

Ombudsman on the rights of children in Penza Irina Karacheva presented to the head of the regional association of foster families Vyacheslav Bulavkin album “Russia without orphans.”

Further exchange of experiences continued in an informal setting in the framework of “cafe for foster families.” Topic of conversation was school problems.

According to the chairman of the Penza regional public organization for promotion of social adaptation “Blagovest” Maria Lvova-Belova, such forums provide an excellent opportunity to work with like-minded people.

“Our work is very important and relevant. From morning to evening — stress, struggle, and here we share experiences and seek solutions to various problems that appear in families. The Penza region has positive experiences to create favorable conditions for the life and development of children, supervision and support of foster families, and we are happy to communicate,” she said.

The forum participants adopted a resolution, which noted the need for further development and improvement of the state policy in the sphere of protection of orphans and children left without parental care.

It makes a number of proposals that are addressed to the relevant ministries and agencies.
